The wait is almost over. Tokyo Revengers: War of the Three Titans Arc (Tokyo Revengers: Santen Sensō-hen) is officially landing in October 2026, and honestly, the anime community cannot stop talking about it. After three seasons of time-leaping drama, heartbreak, and some of the most chaotic gang wars ever animated, the fourth and final season is gearing up to close the story out in a big way.
Takemichi Is Back and the Stakes Have Never Been Higher
So where does Season 4 pick things up? Right after the wild cliffhanger of the Tenjiku Arc, Takemichi Hanagaki time-leaps back to 2008, this time as a high schooler dropped straight into a brutal three-way gang war for control of all of Kanto. No warmup. No easing in. Just chaos from the jump.
The three forces colliding this season are the Tokyo Manji Gang under Mikey, the intimidating Rokuhara Tandai led by South Terano, and the legendary Brahman gang commanded by Senju Kawaragi. Each of these factions has serious history and serious power behind them, and Takemichi is stuck right in the middle of it all. And if anyone knows what it means to carry a whole crew on his back, it's Mikey himself - the kind of guy who once said,
"Toman belongs to me. As long as I have its back, none of us are ever gonna lose." - Manjiro "Mikey" Sano

Each of these factions has serious history and serious power behind them, and Takemichi somehow has to navigate all of it while still trying to change the future.
What Season 4 Will Likely Cover
Based on the original manga by Ken Wakui, which ran in Weekly Shonen Magazine from March 2017 all the way to November 2022 across 31 volumes, here's what Season 4 is expected to cover:
- The full introduction of South Terano, Senju Kawaragi, and the rest of the Three Titans
- Flashbacks exploring the origins of the legendary Black Dragon gang
- The deeper history connecting Brahman to characters fans already know and love
- High-stakes battles that actually matter for Takemichi's mission to save Hinata
- The long-awaited ending to the entire Tokyo Revengers story
This is the final arc, so everything that has been building since Season 1 is expected to come to a head here. It's the payoff season, and for longtime fans, that alone makes it worth watching.
Fresh Faces Joining the Voice Cast

Season 4 is bringing in some seriously talented new additions to the cast. Here's who's been announced so far:
- Hiroki Yasumoto as South Terano
- Shinnosuke Tachibana as Wakasa Imaushi
- Naoyuki Shimozuru as Takeomi Akashi
- Takanori Hoshino as Keizo Arashi
- Mariya Ise as Senju Kawaragi
Mariya Ise, who many anime fans will recognize as the voice of Killua in Hunter x Hunter and Himeno in Chainsaw Man, is easily one of the most talked-about casting choices. The returning cast is also back in full, with Yuki Shin reprising his role as Takemichi and Yuu Hayashi back as Mikey.
A New Director Steps into the Role

Behind the camera, things are changing too. Maki Kodaira, who previously directed The Four Knights of the Apocalypse, is taking over as director for Season 4. Koichi Hatsumi, who directed the first three seasons, is stepping aside, and Kodaira is coming in with something to prove.
From what the new trailer shows, the animation already looks noticeably cleaner and more polished than previous seasons, which fans have been quick to point out. LIDENFILMS is back as the animation studio, with Yasuyuki Muto handling series composition and Hiroaki Tsutsumi returning to deliver the music. Why People Are Still Showing Up for This Series
Say what you want about Tokyo Revengers, but the numbers don't lie. The manga has over 80 million copies in circulation, and back in 2022, the franchise was the second highest-grossing anime property of the year. That kind of staying power doesn't happen by accident. At the heart of it all is Takemichi, a guy who keeps showing up no matter how hard things get - someone who genuinely believes,
"In the past and the present, I have to change, or nothing else will." - Takemichi Hanagaki
A huge part of what keeps people coming back is the side characters. Mikey, Draken, the Haitani brothers - these are the characters fans genuinely care about, and Season 4 promises to give them more room to shine. Season 3 was available exclusively on Disney+, so it's worth keeping an eye on where Season 4 ends up streaming when October rolls around. While you wait, go check out our pieces on Blue Box Season 2 and Black Torch Anime for more upcoming anime you should have on your radar.
On top of all that, a mini anime called Fairy Tale Revengers is also in production, so there's even more content coming for fans beyond the main season.
