Fire Force Season 3 Part 2 is getting wild as we head into the final episodes. Episode 18, which is Episode 6 of the second cour, drops this week and things are about to get real. With Shinra and the Pillars stuck in Adolla and Company 8 fighting their way through Amaterasu, the show's basically throwing everything at us right now. En'en no Shōbōtai fans have been waiting for these moments since the manga ended.

When Does Episode 18 Drop and What's the Countdown

Episode 18 hits Crunchyroll on Friday, February 13, 2026 at 9:30 AM PT / 12:30 PM ET. So, we've got about a week to recover from Ogun getting absolutely beaten by Charon. The episode comes with both subtitles and the English dub, which is nice if you prefer watching it that way.

Vulcan vs Giovanni Round Two Takes Center Stage

The teaser at the end of last episode pretty much confirmed it. Vulcan's finally getting his rematch with Dr. Giovanni, and honestly, it's been a long time coming. Their first fight was rough for Vulcan emotionally because Giovanni wasn't just some random enemy. This was the guy who mentored him, betrayed his family, and basically destroyed everything Vulcan believed in.

This time though, Vulcan's got Lisa and Yu backing him up. The fight's happening at Amaterasu, which makes it even more personal since Vulcan's family literally helped build that place. Giovanni showing up there and messing with that legacy? Yeah, that's gonna fuel Vulcan's fire. The animation crew has been going crazy this season, so seeing Vulcan's tech go up against Giovanni's creepy body modifications should look incredible. It's gonna be one of those fights where you can feel how much it matters to the character, not just another battle to check off the list.

Arthur's Delusion Becomes His Greatest Weapon

While Vulcan handles Giovanni, Arthur's probably squaring up with Dragon again. Remember how Dragon completely wrecked Arthur last time? Well, things might be different now. Last episode dropped this interesting detail about how Arthur's whole knight fantasy thing might actually work in his favor with all the Adolla weirdness going on.

Think about it like this. Adolla messes with reality based on what people believe and imagine. Arthur genuinely believes he's a knight to his core. No joke, no act, he really thinks he's living in some medieval fantasy. That kind of conviction could let him bend reality way more than someone who's just trying to use logic and reason. It's like he's playing a video game where everyone else is struggling with the controls, but Arthur doesn't even realize there are controls. He just does his thing. That castle visual from last episode wasn't just for show. Arthur's literally creating his own battlefield through pure delusion, which is both hilarious and kind of brilliant.

Company 8 Fights as One United Front

Episode 18 should keep building on what we saw with Ogun and Charon. Ogun got beaten down hard, but Hinawa's perfect timing with that shot proved something important. Even monsters like Charon can be hurt when the team works together properly. No more solo hero stuff, everyone's gotta coordinate now.

Arrow teaming up with Hinawa still feels weird but it works. Watching them shoot together after they were literally trying to kill each other earlier in the series is kind of surreal. Tamaki's Nekomata looking way stronger than before and Maki doing her thing should get some good moments too. The whole crew's pushing forward and nobody's holding back anymore.

Speaking of anime that's currently airing, you might want to check out what we wrote about Frieren Season 2 Episode 5 and Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 Episode 7 if you're keeping up with those shows too.

The Clock Ticks Down to Cataclysm

We've only got seven episodes left after this one. That's it. Fire Force is wrapping up for good and Episode 18 is a major piece of that puzzle. Company 8 needs to get past all these White Clad members to figure out what's really happening at Amaterasu's core. People who read the manga know things get absolutely nuts from here on out. Shinra's words echo throughout this entire arc portraying his resilience when he declared,

"I will get back up as often as it takes, and each time, I won't be beaten" - Shinra Kusakabe

The show's been looking great all season. David Production clearly saved their budget for this final run because the fights have been hitting different. Vulcan, Arthur, and everyone else are about to face their biggest challenges yet, and all those character moments we've been watching since season one are finally paying off. The series is tying everything together and it looks like we're heading toward something special. Just seven more weeks until we see how this whole crazy journey ends.
