The finale flashed a message saying their story is far from over, which usually means either a sequel is being planned or the publisher just wants you to go buy the manga. The light novel is done, but the manga has not covered nearly as much ground yet, so there may not be a comfortable amount of material sitting there waiting. The Fandom Cannot Agree on Anything

Reading through reactions is honestly entertaining. Plenty of viewers call it flat out bad, pointing at writing that hypes up a problem and then solves it two minutes later. The slave contract that supposedly could not be broken? Turns out Eftal used to break those for fun. People noticed.

And yet a surprising number of those same people watched all twelve episodes without skipping one. There is a whole group describing it as bad but weirdly comfortable, the kind of show you put on without thinking. Others are less kind and call it one of the weaker releases in recent memory.
