So, The Ogre's Bride (Oni no Hanayome) somehow turned into one of those shows everyone's talking about this season, whether they love it or love to hate it. And with the finale basically knocking on the door, the question on everyone's mind is simple: are we getting a Season 2? Here's what we actually know, plus a few educated guesses.

Catching Up Before We Talk Season 2

Yuzu turns eighteen with basically nothing except a dress her grandparents got her, while her parents spent years and years pouring everything into her younger sister Karin. Why? Because Karin got picked as the bride of a fox demon named Youta, and in this world that's basically winning the lottery. Demons apparently helped rebuild Japan after the war, so being chosen as an ayakashi bride is treated like the ultimate honor a girl could ask for.

Then one rough night, Yuzu gets burned and kicked out, and boom, she runs into Reiya Kiryuin, heir to the strongest ogre clan, who declares her his bride right there on the spot. The very first thing Reiya says to her when they meet isn't "Are you okay?" It's,

"I found you. I've been waiting for this moment… My bride" - Reiya Kiryuin

From there it's been watching Yuzu slowly grow a spine while her family gets worse and worse (yes, that's possible apparently). Episode 10 left us with Karin literally shoving Yuzu down a staircase, so yeah, things escalated fast.
