What the Manga Says About Episode 1

Episode 1 is expected to adapt around 5 manga chapters. Those chapters most likely cover the calm before the storm, meaning training, rescue plans and a look at what the villains are cooking up. Big fights will probably come a little later.

The Spade Kingdom arc runs roughly 60 chapters, so there's plenty of material for a big season. Since the episode hasn't aired yet, those chapter numbers are an educated guess, and the anime could add a few extra scenes to fill its twenty minutes.
