Clevatess Season 3: Release Date and What Fans Are Hoping

"I saw a fascinating future for the three main characters, Alicia, Klen, and Luna, and I felt a strong desire to adapt the series for the screen and share it with the world." - Kosuke Arai, Kadokawa producer

Then the finale stretch dropped a bomb nobody saw coming, this whole world used to run on an isekai style system. Ages ago, a civilization called Toah summoned people from another world and turned them into disposable super soldiers sent to die fighting the dark beasts. Vordin, assumed to be just another evil lord, turns out to have been grieving his best friend Write, the original hero who sacrificed himself to burn the whole system down. Now Write might be waking back up, and that's where things stand heading into the last episode.

Episode 13 wraps up the season on Wednesday, September 30, 2026. It'll hit at the usual times fans are used to by now, 5 a.m. PDT, 8 a.m. EDT, 12 p.m. GMT.

What The Last Episode Will Probably Tackle

Given how things were left, Klen just got absolutely wrecked by Vordin, and Write is stirring after a thousand years asleep, the finale's got a lot to clean up. There's also that Alicia versus fake Milea fight that got teased and then just... didn't happen yet. Expect the season to close out those two threads while dropping just enough new mystery to keep people talking for months. Ray and his weird connection to the crest system feels like it's going to matter a lot more soon too.

Where Season 3 Could Take the Story

5. A real showdown between Clevatess and Vordin now that the bad blood's kind of cleared up
6. Toah supposedly still existing somewhere, according to Vordin, which honestly raises more questions than it answers

Here's the catch though, the current manga arc covering this time skip period still isn't finished. That means the gap before Season 3 could end up being noticeably longer than the wait between Season 1 and 2, unless the studio's already sitting on enough material to move forward without stalling.

How The Fandom Feels About It All

Honestly, the response to this season has been really positive. A lot of people are calling the isekai reveal one of the better surprises they've seen in anime this year, mostly because it doesn't feel like a cheap twist, it actually recontextualizes everything that happened in Season 1 too. The practical effects during the Vordin fight, those little miniature explosions instead of pure CGI, got a lot of love as well for giving the show a scrappy, old school feel that stands out. That approach was always intentional from the top. Director Kiyotaka Taguchi explained it plainly in an interview with io9 at Anime Expo 2026:

"I was born in the '80s. Instead of doing VFX, I'm more of an SFX type of guy. I grew up on those types of movies." - Kiyotaka Taguchi, Director

That said, there's some nervousness floating around about the wait. Manga readers keep pointing out the source material still has a long way to go, so people are bracing themselves for a longer gap than usual. Even with that worry, most fans seem confident the writing's strong enough to be worth the patience whenever Season 3 does show up.
