Hell's Paradise Season 2 Episode 6 Drops This Weekend

Hell's Paradise (Jigokuraku) Season 2 hit the halfway mark with Episode 5, and wow, things went sideways fast. The whole stealth plan completely blew up, everyone got separated, and now they're stuck fighting the Tensen whether they like it or not. Episode 6 is coming next Sunday, February 15, 2026, and it's going to be packed with action based on how badly Episode 5 ended.
Episode 6 Releases in One Week
Hell's Paradise Season 2 Episode 6 comes out this Sunday, February 15, 2026, at 7:15 AM PT or 10:15 AM ET. You can catch it on Crunchyroll in most places, and Netflix or Prime Video might have it depending on your country. The Sunday morning release is pretty convenient if you want to make it part of your weekly routine.
Episode 5 ended rough. Chobei ratted everyone out to the Tensen because he only cares about protecting his brother. The entire group got ambushed, their escape plan failed before it even started, and now they're split into three teams with a Tensen hunting each one. When Gabimaru straight up says "it's over," you know things are bad.
What's Actually Happening in Episode 6
Based on how the manga plays out, Episode 6 is where the real fighting starts. All that training Gabimaru and Yuzuriha did with the group in Episode 5? They're gonna need every bit of it now. The elemental matchups matter a lot here since some Tao types are stronger against others.

Gabimaru's group has to deal with Ran, who uses water. Yuzuriha's earth should work well against water, so at least they've got that going for them. But Ran's still an ancient immortal being with way more experience, so it's not exactly a fair fight. Sagiri's gonna need to use her wood attribute to support Gabimaru's fire, and Gabimaru can boost Yuzuriha. They work well together if they can pull it off. Mei's there too, and she wanted answers from the Tensen about why they became monsters, so that whole conversation could get heavy.
Shion and Nurugai are up against Zhu Jin, the one who killed Tenza in Season 1. This feels personal for Shion especially, since he's been carrying that anger quietly. The manga shows this fight getting pretty emotional since it's basically revenge for what happened to Tenza. Whether they can actually win is questionable though. Speaking of other shows, we've been covering Frieren Season 2 Episode 5 and Fire Force Season 3 Part 2 Episode 6 if you want to check out what else is airing.
Full Release Schedule for the Rest of the Season
Here's when all the remaining episodes drop:

- Episode 7: February 22, 2026
- Episode 8: March 1, 2026
- Episode 9: March 8, 2026
- Episode 10: March 15, 2026
- Episode 11: March 22, 2026
- Episode 12: March 29, 2026
The Battles Begin

Episode 6 is where all that planning from Episode 5 either pays off or falls apart completely. The group spent half the episode learning about Tao compatibility and practicing stealth techniques. Now they're forced into direct combat, which is exactly what they were trying to avoid.
Fuchi, Gantetsusai, and Toma got stuck fighting both Tao Fa and Ju Fa at the same time. That's rough because dealing with two Tensen is way harder than one. Fuchi's metal works against Tao Fa's wood, which is good. But Ju Fa has fire, and fire beats metal, so they're kind of screwed there. The team's gonna have to figure something out fast or they're done.
The Chobei situation is interesting because he's clearly playing both sides. Yeah, he sold everyone out, but does he actually trust the Tensen to keep whatever deal they made? Probably not. The guy ripped his own eye out without flinching, so he's not gonna just roll over for them. He's likely learning everything he can about their weaknesses while pretending to cooperate. Episode 6 might start showing what he's really planning.
MAPPA Keeps Delivering

MAPPA's animation has been really solid this season. The fights look great, and each Tao element has its own visual style that makes battles easier to follow. You can tell which character is using which element just by looking at the effects. Director Kaori Makita shared her dedication to the project, saying
"I'm honored to once again work on the story of Gabimaru. The characters endured struggles in Season 1, each surviving in their own way. Now, we are focusing on how to depict their emotional changes and the iconic scenes from the manga." - Kaori Makita, Director
Six episodes left after this one, with the finale on March 29, 2026. They've been pacing everything well so far, so the last stretch should be intense. Episode 6 kicks off the action that'll probably carry through the rest of the season.
